Overnight Oats

If you haven’t tried overnight oats yet, then you don’t know what you’re missing! Even if you don’t like oatmeal, it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t like overnight oats. It’s like the difference between people who love hot coffee and those who love cold brew. Or you may be like me and love both!

Overnight oats are literally the easiest breakfast to make. Like the title suggests, you put everything together the night before and leave them in the fridge overnight. Then, when you wake up in the morning, they’re just sitting there in the fridge ready to be devoured. What’s more perfect than that?

The ingredients may seem like not much, but they are very filling. I like a big hearty breakfast and these always fill me up. The almond milk gives the oats a bit of natural sweetness, but I add a teaspoon of honey for flavor and more sweetness. You can bring more natural sweetness in by adding fruit. You could also add more crunch by adding chopped nuts.

Ingredients

  • Quick Oats 1/2 cup

  • Almond Milk 3/4 cup

  • Honey 1 tsp

  • 3 Strawberries, sliced

  • 3 Blackberries

Directions

  • Pour oats into a small jar.
  • Pour almond milk over the oats.
  • Drizzle honey over the milk and oats.
  • Top with fruit. Cover the jar tightly and refrigerate overnight.
