Toffee is just about the easiest thing in the world to make. And this Easy 4 Ingredient Toffee will have you wondering why you didn’t make it sooner!
Toffee isn’t just for snacking on. You can actually break it up into small pieces and add it to different desserts. I put them in cookies, pies, cheesecakes, etc. If you want to add another ingredient, you can pour chocolate chips over the top while the toffee is still warm, let it melt, and then spread it evenly. That’s a pretty popular candy at Christmastime.
I like to add tiny pieces of toffee to my oatmeal cookies or blondies.
Easy 4 Ingredient ToffeeCourse: Baking
Unsalted Butter 226g
Sugar 1 cup
Water 3 Tbsp
Light Corn Syrup 1 Tbsp
- Line an aluminum baking sheet with a Silpat or foil.
- Place all the ingredients in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat, boiling until it turns amber in color (about 20 minutes).
- Pour onto prepared sheet pan and cool for at least 2 hours.
- Use your hands to break up into pieces.
